GAA CLUB NOTES

On Thursday the Junior team travel to Clonbur to play against Naomh Pádraig, Clonbur at 8:00pm for the Quarter-Final of Division 4B. The Senior team host St Michael’s in Corofin on Friday at 8:00pm for the Semi-Final of Division 1. The Junior team travel to Mervue to play St James’ at 6:00pm for the Semi-Final of Division 3A.

Best of luck to all the Players and Management in this weekend’s Quarter and Semi Finals. Please show your support for our teams this weekend.

The Junior A team host Oranmore-Maree in Corofin next Monday (19th) at 8:00pm for Round 4 of the Junior A Championship North and the Junior D team travel to Barnaderg on Tuesday at 8:00pm to play Killererin in Round 4 of the Junior D Championship North.

On Sunday the Galway Seniors travel to the Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, Carrik-on-Shannon to play Armagh for the third and final round of their All-Ireland Football Championship Group 2. Best of luck to Club players Bernard Power, Dylan McHugh, Kieran Molloy and Ian Burke.


LGFA CLUB NOTES

Last Thursday the Junior team hosted Dunmore MacHales for the 1st Round of the Coen Cup. It was a great game for the spectator with some brilliant football played. The girls controlled the game well and finished with a healthy winning margin; Corofin 1-15 Dunmore MacHales 0-10.


UNDERAGE

The u9 Boys had a great morning last Saturday as they travelled to Barna to play a blitz! The boys put on an outstanding performance, well done to all.

The u12 Girls Green team played against Tuam-Cortoon in Tuam last Wednesday evening in Division 6. It was a tight game with plenty of excitement and the girls very unlucky not to have come away with the win. The u12 Girls Blue team hosted Loughrea in Belclare last Thursday and played some very entertaining football with plenty of skill. They were very well-deserved winners. The Blue team play St Fursey’s next Saturday in Headford for the final round of Division 2, with both teams currently joint-top of the table. The u12 Girls Yellow team play against Tuam-Cortoon in Tuam this evening (Wednesday) for the final round of Division 4. Best of luck to all the girls this week.

The u14 Girls Yellow team host Ballinasloe in Division 2 in Belclare on Thursday at 7:00pm, best of luck to the Players and Management.

A reminder that the Nursery Group continues to train in Belclare on Saturdays from 10:15 – 11:15am. This training is for boys and girls born in 2017 and 2018 only.


2023 MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
