The club would like to express its sympathy to the family of Murty Hanly, who passed away suddenly in Mullingar. Murty was a member of our break- through County minor champions in 1962 and served the club with distinction for many years as a player, team mentor and club officer. He also served as treasurer of the County Football board for several years. There will be prayers for Murty in St Colman’s Church Corofin on Monday at 13.30 after which he will be laid to rest in Kilmoylan cemetery.
